Green Salad with fresh fruit and candied walnuts.
8 cups of mixed salad greens or can use romaine lettuce
1 cup thinly sliced seedless cucumber
1/2-3/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1/2-3/4 cup of candied walnuts
3/4-1 cup shredded cheese (can substitute crumbled feta)
1 cup sliced strawberries, honey crisp apples, or mandarin oranges (or combination of all)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp soy sauce salt and pepper to taste
Wisk dressing ingredients together. Toss over salad mixture above just before serving.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 9 x 13 cake pan spray inside with cooking spray. Pour cherry pie filling and blueberry pie filling in bottom of pan. Sprinkle nuts over fruit. Open the cake mix and sprinkle the powder evenly over the top. Slice butter into small pieces and sprinkle evenly over top of cake mix. Bake 30-40 minutes until fruit starts to bubble up around the golden brown edges. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Store any leftover cake covered in refrigerator.
Layer in as follows in a large bowl. 1 medium sized, peeled and coarsely chopped mango, followed by 1 large, seedless, and coarsely chopped cucumber. Add in 1/2 of a medium sized red and yellow sweet pepper, also coarsely chopped. Mix in 1/2 of a chopped red or purple onion that is followed by 2 seeded and chopped jalapeno peppers. 3 minced garlic cloves is next followed by 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Cover and refrigerate the ingredients for 2 to 3 hours before serving with fish, chicken, pork, or chips.
Layer as follows in 9" glass or ceramic pie pan 3 cans of minced clams including liquid from 1-1/2 cans 1/2-3/4 cup of chopped red/orange/yellow pepper 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion 1/4-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper depending how spicy you would like it sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano 1/2-3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (can use any kind including taco flavored) top with seasoned bread crumbs add uncooked bacon pieces on top of crumbs top with a few thin slices of regular butter Bake at 350 degrees approx 20 minutes or until bacon is done and cheese melted. Serve with slices of crusty bread or crackers.
